PRO MILONE 2022
In 2022, the Sui Generis Association is organizing the eighth edition of its Pro Milone Moot Court Competition. You will find here all the information about this event.
This 8th edition of the Pro Milone Moot Court Competition will take place on Fridays May 27th and June 3rd 2021, in person.
A first day, of qualification rounds at the Palais du Travail - Salle Elie Sermet in Narbonne, and a second day for the final at the Tribunal Judiciaire of Narbonne.
For the first time in this competition, teams from Perpignan will experience the art of oratorical debate. In all, 6 teams of young pleaders will compete in a real simulated trial.
The discipline selected this year is the Law of Fundamental Freedoms. The fictional case is inspired by real facts, historical, contemporary and cinematographic references. This case deals with the notions of technology, media, international relations and States. Their jousts will take place in front of an expert jury, composed of consultants, lawyers and academics.
On the same occasion we will sign the return of a Pro Milone open to the public, after an edition played in limited configuration due to sanitary obligations.
However, we will maintain a video recording of the competition, and you will be able to (re) watch the pleadings in the following days.
At the end of the competition, the following prizes will be awarded :
